first week KL

It is almost a week since we are in Kuala Lumpur (KL) (Malaysia). Time went very fast. Guess it is always the case when you are having fun :).
What did we do? So... it all started with New Years celebration in KL: nice show and atmosphere. It was strange that people do not do any fireworks by themselves. Actually we really enjoyed it as we never had to worry that somebody through some fireworks in our direction. (Firework photo attached).
To get more of the real KL feeling we often went with public transport: skytrain, monorail and busses. Trains are easy, it will stop at a platform... (duh), but there are several bus companies, running different routes, and although a bus stop is indicated, key missing info: what bus numbers will stop there. By asking around we found out that KL people are really friendly and willing to help out.
b.t.w.: We have found a substitute for our cat, this one is bit bigger and a bit lighter colour and he loves swimming. Actually we found a few more animals that need proper feeding :-) (photos attached).
As you will understand, it's about time we will take a break from this all, that is why we will move to a tropical island tomorrow to take a bit of rest from the busy city life.

mooi vuurwerk, en heel veilig niemand zelf vuurwerk afsteken, moeten ze in nederland ook doen, scheelt hoop ellende.....peter weer vogeltjes, had hij vroeger thuis ook in de voliere, wel kleinere vogeltjes,,, leuk die witte kat ipv yang, nemen jullie die mee naar huis?????...erg mooi bij jullie. lekker zonnetje, hier ook vandaag maar wel koud -

Hi eten-gever en aai-hand. Ik zie dat jullie mij niet meer nodig hebben. Ik vind het heel leuk hier en mijn nieuwe voeder baas is zo slecht nog niet. Wel had hij mij gisteren in zijn was kamer opgesloten, ik denk niet expres en anders dan wat haren heb ik niets achter gelaten. Was wel prettig 12 uur in een mand schone was slapen.
